Transportation

The University of New Haven does not have university vehicles, and therefore students are responsible for their own transportation to and from service-learning sites.  The Office of Academic Service-Learning strongly encourages service-learning students to use the CT Transit U-Pass Program.

U-Pass
University of New Haven resident students have the option of using the U-pass; a special transportation pass for that is valid for unlimited trips during the fall and spring semesters on all CTTRANSIT local buses. The U-pass gives you transportation freedom with no out-of-pocket expense.   U-pass cards are distributed through the Office of Residential Life in Bixler Hall. Visit http://www.newhaven.edu/student-life/23979/ to learn more the U-pass program.

Use of a personal vehicle
The University of New Haven is not liable for any injuries to person(s) or property caused by the acts or omissions of others during transportation.  Further, University of New Haven makes no recommendations or guarantees as to any transportation providers you may deal with in making your arrangements.  The driver, vehicle owner, and University of New Haven are not responsible for any injury or damages which may be incurred during transportation.
