Sally Anastos facilitates the University's Academic Service-Learning initiative and establishes and maintains partnerships between faculty and community-based organizations. Leading the University's Service-Learning Scholars faculty program and other faculty development seminars, Sally supports faculty in the creation of service-learning courses. In addition, Sally manages the Academic Service-Learning Advisory Board and is creating an assessment mechanism to measure the impact of service-learning on UNH students. Sally teaches one service-learning course; Freshman Experience.
Prior to joining UNH, Sally worked at United Way of Greater New Haven and led The Youth Philanthropy Project, a youth leadership program for regional high school students, managed municipal and education workplace campaign accounts, and assisted in the community investment process. She also served as an AmeriCorps*VISTA with the Massachusetts Campus Compact at Bentley College's Service-Learning Center.
Sally has a Master of Science from The New School for Social Research in Nonprofit Management and is a graduate of Providence College with a Bachelor of Arts in Public and Community Service.
