Richard O. Kaufmann '67 Scholarship Fund for Innovative Engineering

The Richard O. Kaufmann '67 Scholarship Fund for Innovative Engineering will be awarded to one student who is admitted to the Tagliatela College of Engineering as a matriculated student, who qualifies for a UNH Presidential Merit Scholarship and who wins a project competition hosted by University of New Haven.

The scholarship will cover the full cost of tuition and is worth more than $150,000 over four years.

The Tagliatela College of Engineering (TCoE) offers seven nationally-accredited engineering and applied science programs: chemical, civil, computer, electrical, mechanical and system engineering, and computer science. The TCoE was ranked in the top tier of undergraduate engineering programs nationwide in the past three years’ editions of U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges.” The College has implemented programs so that graduates not only acquire the technical skills necessary in their field but also develop the communication skills and business knowledge necessary to become effective leaders. The project competition for the Richard O. Kaufmann '67 Scholarship Fund for Innovative Engineering will be held on Saturday, March 1 beginning at 9 a.m. in the Alumni Lounge of Bartels Hall on the UNH West Haven campus. Students will be asked to present their Science and Engineering Fair project to a panel of judges selected by the University. There will be space to display materials related to your project.
