The Tagliatela College of Engineering is comprised of five academic departments: Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering and Computer Science, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Engineering and Applied Science Education. The faculty work closely together on curriculum development, teaching, research and scholarship, addressing student needs and advancing the college's strategic plan.
The faculty includes 54 full-time members with diverse backgrounds and experiences, and numerous highly experienced adjunct faculty. Our faculty strive to provide the best engineering and applied science education that enable our graduates to be highly competitive both locally and nationally.
More than 95% of our full-time faculty hold a Ph.D., the appropriate terminal degree in their field. The adjunct faculty who are professionals (engineers, scientists, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and managers) from business and industry are selected strategically to best serve our students and the strategic directions of the college.
