All Residents students are required to purchase a meal plan. Each plan has two parts: Board meals are Breakfast & Dinner, Mon-Fri, and Brunch and Dinner on weekends for a total of 14 board meals per week. These are all you can eat meals. At Lunch, all students use the Dining Dollar portion of the plan. Lunch service is Ala-carte, students pay item by item for whatever they wish to have.

Dining Dollar may also be used at Jazzman's cafe, the Quad Convenience Store, Pandini's, Sky Ranch Grill, Sandella's, and Nrgize Lifestyle Cafe. Freshmen and sophomore residents are required to purchase either Meal Plan A B, or E each semester. Junior and Senior residents may choose any of the five plans.

In place of a board dinner meal at the Marketplace, a student may choose to have a dinner at Pandini's, Sky Ranch Grill, Sandella's, or Jazzman's Cafe. The student may choose one of several "combo meals" available, or may choose any items on the menu up to a total value for $4.95. This meal then counts as one of the board meals for the week. Equivalency is valid only during regular board meal periods.
