K. Oni Chukwu is president and CEO of etouches, the leader in cloud-based events management software. He joined the company in 2013 to lead etouches through its next phase of growth. It has been ranked the last three years on Inc.’s list of fastest-growing privately held companies.

Chukwu has more than 20 years of experience in growing global technology companies and working closely with enterprise business users around the world, providing them the software, technology tools and services they need to achieve their growth goals. He also has proven skills in recruiting and nurturing global talent to deliver best-in-class software and services for customers. 

Prior to joining etouches, he served for seven years as executive vice president and CFO of Triple Point Technology, a firm that specializes in solutions for commodity trading, risk management and logistics. He oversaw global operations and finance, information technology, mergers and acquisitions, communications and talent management and oversaw the successful sale of Triple Point to a strategic acquirer.

Previously, he was the CFO of Netkey, Inc., an enterprise software company that provides a platform to major retailers for self-service devices, kiosks and digital signage. He also has held top positions at Eventra, Inc., Healthcare Software Synergies, Inc., Lexbridge Corp. and KPMG Peat Marwick.

Through the Africa Plan Foundation, his family foundation, Chukwu actively supports underprivileged youth and women’s issues globally in the areas of education, healthcare and leadership development. The organization also provides financial support to budding entrepreneurs.  

He joined the University of New Haven’s Board of Governors in 2007. He also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Technology Council.

Chukwu, who earned a master’s degree in business administration from UNH, lives in Orange, Conn., with his wife, Leslie. The couple has two daughters.
