Now that you have decided to advance your education, you may need to revisit you career goals as you progress through a graduate degree. Although you have selected a specific area of study, you may be at the point where reassessment of the new knowledge and skills built through education and hands-on experience is needed.
The Career Development Center offers a career assessment called FOCUS that can analyze your interests, abilities, values and personality and can suggest some specific career areas to explore. It is recommended that you meet with a member of the Career Development Center staff after you take FOCUS to review your results in more depth.
Also, you can make an appointment with a Career Advisor independently of using FOCUS to discuss your career goals in greater detail.
