Jay Krishnamoorthy has over 20 years of experience in various industries (Medical, ASIC, USB Peripherals, Storage devices and printing) leading development, operations and quality departments. He started as a development engineer, who designed Microprocessor & Microcontroller based systems for a company whose customers were ATL Laboratories, Toshiba and Analog devices. He also led the test engineering team at Creative technology (Singapore) where he designed various test systems for qualifying various audio chipsets.
He has extensive experience in leading Operations for various industries, he setup a CT scanner plant for GE medical systems in India, and consulted for various small businesses to run their operations efficiently. Previous to the current position, he was General Manager of Pexagon Technology. In this role, he significantly improved the operations and stabilized the supply chain in USA and ASIA with strategic supplier partnership program.
Jay managed Quality team for a worldwide organization (8 sites worldwide) where he re-engineered the entire business processes, in alignment with the Quality Systems and the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software. These changes increased revenue and customer satisfaction within a very short period of time.
He is Chairman for American Society for Quality – New Haven section. He is an Adjunct Faculty at the Tagliatela College of Engineering, teaching Project Management and Engineering Economics.
