The University of New Haven offers one of the more flexible Executive MBA programs in the Northeast.
Focus in a No-Nonsense Corporate Environment
Our graduate campus in Orange brings the corporate world into every classroom, which is not surprising, since it is the former headquarters of Hubbell, Inc. In its new incarnation, however, it is the spectacular home of our Executive MBA program and other graduate programs in the College of Business.
Adjacent to the Wilbur Cross Parkway in the pastoral stretch between exits 55 and 56, the campus is not only a quick ride from our West Haven campus, but it is also attracting students to UNH from different areas — Hartford and nearby Fairfield County.
With its tranquil beauty and distraction-free setting, the campus is the perfect place to concentrate. You start unwinding from your busy schedule as you make your way up a tree-tunneled driveway, at the top of which is the high-tech heart of the campus — a 70,000-square-foot, three-building facility with Wi-Fi throughout and a series of smart classrooms with laptops and multiple print stations at your disposal. Also standing by is a computer lab stocked with PCs.
Since the campus has the corporate world in its DNA, you will find some corporate-grade amenities there as well, such as catered meals in a private dining room and a security staff that provides escorts back to students’ cars on request in the evening.
The stunning campus became a reality for the University thanks, in large part, to the generosity of two prominent alumni. Samuel S. Bergami, Jr., ’85 EMBA, and Charles E. Pompea, ’71, ’90 EMBA, leaders in the business community, who both made significant contributions to help fund the purchase of the property.
A career-advancing EMBA program, impressive faculty, stunning setting, and get-down-to-business atmosphere — it’s why we’re calling this a campus like no other, a new haven for business success.
PERSONAL ATTENTIONOne of the key advantages of the Executive MBA program is our small class size. In fact, each class, or cohort, is limited to 25 or fewer business professionals. This ensures that you benefit from collaborative discussions led by faculty who bring both academic and business experience into the classroom. Our faculty encourages team learning, allowing students to exchange best practices and insights from their diverse organizations and industries.
We offer a convenient class schedule to help our students balance their academic work with their personal and professional commitments. Classes meet every three weeks on Fridays and Saturdays. Students complete six modules within 23 months.
