It’s a new era for Charger Athletics and the University of New Haven ...
JOIN UNH AS WE TRANSITION TO THE PRESTIGIOUS NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE!

This year’s Charger Classic proceeds are going to fund the construction of a New Athletics Equipment Room in Charger Gymnasium. In order to accommodate our student-athletes’ uniform and equipment needs moving forward, we need a new equipment room. The new space will benefit all of our student-athletes, and includes custom-designed storage compartments for each sports team. It will allow for better organization and use of space, updated inventory, and ease of storage and retrieval for our growing population of student-athletes.
Constructed of the most durable materials, this equipment system features mounted storage units on wheeled carriages that run on tracks. It eliminates the need for fixed aisles, freeing floor space for more productive uses and helping save space and money.  The system, shown in artist's renderings above, is in use by high-level athletic programs including the University of Miami and University of Oklahoma (shown above).
