After spending two seasons as the Chargers' starting setter, Yael Rosner returns to the Charger Women's Volleyball coaching staff as a graduate assistant in 2009.
Rosner helped lead the Chargers to back-to-back NCAA appearances, including a NCAA Division II Elite Eight appearance in 2008. She also helped lead the Chargers to the 2008 Northeast-10 Conference regular season and postseason championships, after a perfect 14-0 conference record.
In 2008, she ranked 36th in all of Division II with 10.2 assists per set and was named an AVCA Division II All-American Honorable Mention recipient. She was also named the Northeast-10 Conference Setter of the Year and a AVCA All-East Region First Team selection.
Rosner finished her two-year career at UNH with 2,492 assists, ranking her fifth all-time at UNH.
Prior to arriving at New Haven in 2007, Rosner spent two seasons at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore where she helped the Hawks to the MEAC Tournament semifinals in 2006. In her freshman year Rosner was the only player in the MEAC to post two triple-doubles.
Rosner is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Psychology.
