Volunteer Assistant CoachOmar Ramírez will serve as a volunteer assistant coach for the UNH men's volleyball team in 2008.
Ramírez was a four-year player for the Chargers as a libero and defensive specialist. In 2007, he led UNH with 129 digs (1.84 digs per game) while playing in 70 of the team's 75 games. During his career, Omar played in 232 games and recorded 306 digs, an average of 1.32 per game.
A native of Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, Omar is finishing his undergraduate degree in mechanical and electrical engineering at UNH.
