Drew Kirkeby joined the University of New Haven men's volleyball coaching staff after completing a four-year career with the Chargers. During his four years, Kirkeby totaled over 750 kills and played in over 200 games.

2008: Played in 40 games … Second on the team with 2.97 kills per game (119 total) ... Also was second on the team with 3.21 points per game (128.5 total) ... Enjoyed a .225 hitting percentage and averaged .32 blocks per game.

2007: Played in 60 of 75 games … Led team with 283 total kills and a 4.72 kills per game average … Also led team with 312.5 points and with a .329 hitting percentage … Recorded 27 total blocks (0.45 per game), with 8 solo … Had 12 service aces and 54 digs (0.90 per game) … Career and Season-high 24 kills in a four-game match against SUNY New Paltz … Recorded 20 or more kills in six matches and had 10 or more kills in 16 of 18 matches … Had 16 matches with double-figure point totals, including a streak of 12 straight games … Career and season-high of 26.5 points in four-game match against SUNY New Paltz.

2006: Played in 95 of 98 games ... Third on the team with a 2.42 kills per game average and 230 total kills ... Also third in total points (298.0) ... Hit .358, the second-best total among all regular hitters ... Ranked third with 72 blocks and 0.76 blocks per game) ... 28 of his blocks were solo, the second-best total on the team ... Had 18 service aces and 36 digs ... Season-high 18 kills in three-game home match vs. Vassar ... Hit an astounding .762 (18-2-21) in that match ... Reached double figures in kills in nine different matches ... Had 17 matches with double-figure point totals, including eight straight from Feb. 20 to March 17 ... Season-best 23.0 points in five-game home match vs. East Stroudsburg in season finale ... Had 17 blocks and seven blocks in that match.

2005: Played in 79 of 83 games ... Led the team with 77 total blocks, 57 block assists, and 0.97 blocks per game ... Tied for team lead with 20 solo blocks ... Ranked third on the team in points (202.5) and fourth in kills (137) and kills per game (1.73) ... Had 17 service aces and 41 digs (0.52 per game) ... Reached double figures in kills five times, including season-high 13 in five-game match at Endicott ... Also had a career-high 12.0 blocks in that match (four solo, eight assisted).
