Forensic Science Learning and Living Community
Freshman students enrolled in Forensic Science are provided with two major support programs to assist in thier transition into this challenging but highly rewarding major. For students who need additional Math and Chemistry foundations we offer an intensive enhancement program just prior to the start of their freshman year. These students can further enhance thier first year experience through participation in the Forensic Science Living and Learning Community. Students who choose this residential life option will be housed together in an entire floor or area of a dorm.
As you live and study together, you will also have an opportunity to interact with Resident Advisors and tutors selected specifically to help you achieve success as a forensic science student. Further, throughout the year you will have an opportunity to interact informally and in small group settings with faculty members from the Forensic Science Department. Field trips include places such as CSI Exhibit at the Museum of Science in Boston, Real Bodies Exhibit in New York City, and tours of Forensic Science Laboratories in Connecticut and New York.
