Chuck Bridge begins his first season with the University of New Haven basketball program for the 2009-10 campaign as assistant coach.

Prior to UNH, Bridge was an assistant coach at fellow Northeast-10 Conference member, American International College for the 2008-09 season. The Yellow Jackets posted a 15-13 record, while going 10-10 in the league. He mentored an athlete who was named to the NE-10 All-Rookie team, while recruiting players from New England, New York City, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Before AIC, Bridge spent two years at the Director of Basketball Operations for Long Island University and a year as an assistant coach with Rutgers University – Newark. While at Rutgers-Newark, one student-athlete was tabbed New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year and another was named All-NJAC first-team.

A 2005 graduate of Springfield College (Mass.), Bridge was the assistant coach for the prominent prep school, Wilbraham and Monson Academy, also his alma mater, during his undergraduate years. Bridge coached student-athletes that went on to play at many schools including Stonehill, Central Connecticut State, Southern Maine, Longwood, UMass Lowell and Clark University.

Bridge earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology, while receiving his Master’s degree in Social Science from Long Island University in 2009.
