Niles, Hilaire Named Athletes of the Year at University of New Haven 2008-09 Athletics Banquet
(04-26-09) WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven held its Athletics Awards Banquet on Sunday, April 26 at Charger Gymnasium, where over 200 student-athletes were honored for their participation in 2008-09. The event culminated with the announcement that seniors Rhe-Ann Niles (women's volleyball) and James Hilaire (men's soccer) were chosen as the UNH Female and Male Athletes of the Year.

Coach Seibert and UNH Men's Basketball Voted Winners of Sportsmanship Award
(03-06-09) WEST HAVEN, Conn. - University of New Haven head men's basketball coach Al Seibert and the men's basketball team have been voted the winners of the 2008-2009 Western New England Collegiate Basketball Officials Association (WNE C.B.O.A.) Sam Schoenfeld Sportsmanship Award.

Chaney Receives Third Career All-Conference Honors
(02-27-09) SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - Junior forward Cassius Chaney was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Basketball All-Conference Second Team as voted by the conference's 15 head coaches. This is his third career all-conference award as he earned All-East Coast Conference honors as both a freshman and sophomore.
