Charles Fowler

 Assistant Coach - Wide Receivers

Charles joins the UNH coaching staff as an assitant coach where he will work closely with the wide receivers.

Prior to coming to New Haven, Charles was a four-year member of the Marist College football team, earning Second Team All-League Defense honors from his defensive end position. Following his playing career, he began coaching at Woodland High School and helped guide the team to two Class SS State Championships. During his time at Woodland, Charles also served as the strength and conditioning coach for the team.

In 2007, Charles accepted an assistant coaching and position at Shelton High School to work with wide receivers and defensive ends and also serve as the team's strength and conditioning coach.

Since 2005, Charles has been an assistant coach for the annual New Haven-Fairfield County All Star Game, and he served as an offensive coordinator in 2008.

A graduate of Marist College, Charles currently teaches biology at Shelton High School where he also coaches boys lacrosse. In 2006, he earned his master's degree from the University of Bridgeport in secondary education. Charles currently resides in Shelton, CT.
