Football Announces 2009 Recruiting Class
(05-20-09) WEST HAVEN, Conn. - University of New Haven head football coach Peter Rossomando announced the 2009 recruiting class today. Nearly 40 student-athletes will join the team this coming season as the team returns to the field for the first time since 2003.

Niles, Hilaire Named Athletes of the Year at University of New Haven 2008-09 Athletics Banquet
(04-26-09) WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven held its Athletics Awards Banquet on Sunday, April 26 at Charger Gymnasium, where over 200 student-athletes were honored for their participation in 2008-09. The event culminated with the announcement that seniors Rhe-Ann Niles (women's volleyball) and James Hilaire (men's soccer) were chosen as the UNH Female and Male Athletes of the Year.

Charger Athletics and the Charger Bulletin Announce Athletes of the Week Partnership
(02-20-09) WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven Department of Athletics and the Charger Bulletin, the UNH student newspaper, have announced a partnership to sponsor UNH Athletes of the Week. One male and one female student-athlete will be selected every two weeks as the Charger Bulletin Athletes of the Week.
