Baseball Picked Fifth in NE-10 Preseason Poll
(02-02-10) SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - The University of New Haven baseball team was picked to finish fifth in the Northeast-10 Conference, according to the Preseason Poll which was released Tuesday by the conference office.
Seven to be Enshrined in UNH Athletics Hall of Fame
(01-26-10) WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2010. Consisting of former student-athletes and a coach from seven different sports, the 2010 class includes women's basketball forward Tiesha Grace, football players Mike Horton and Greg Ortman, softball coach Joe Musante, football and men's lacrosse player John Raba, baseball standout Brian Stone, and three-sport athlete Kate Whalen. The Class of 2010 will be enshrined at New Haven's 27th induction ceremony on Friday, March 26 at Race Brook Country Club in Orange, Conn.
Charger Baseball Signs Four During Early Signing Period
(1-14-10) WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The University of New Haven baseball team is pleased to announce four student-athletes who signed scholarship offers during the early signing period. The baseball program will welcome Brendan Buckley, Chris DeMorais, Henry Hirsch and John Melville as the first members of the Class of 2014.
