Accreditation

The programs leading to bachelor’s degrees in chemical, civil, computer, electrical, industrial, and mechanical engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (EAC of ABET).

The bachelor’s degree in computer science is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (CAC of ABET).

ABET procedures require that students graduate from a program before that program can be accredited.  The Tagliatela College of Engineering will seek accreditation for the BS in System Engineering as soon as the first student graduates.  Freshmen are currently enrolled in the BSSE program.
