(10-26-09) WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven women's basketball team hosted its second annual 4K for Kay Run/Walk on Saturday, October 24 on New Haven's North Campus.
Nearly 40 participants took part in the event which raised over $400 for cancer research, both are increases on last year's events. The UNH women's lacrosse and softball teams participated as well as some UNH staff and parents. Sorority Phi Sigma Sigma volunteered their time Saturday morning and handled registration for the race.
Here are some photos from the 2009 4K for Kay.

The 4K for Kay Run/Walk is part of the UNH Department of Athletics broader community engagement efforts, which seeks to help the surrounding towns and community organizations while providing opportunities for student-athletes and coaches to give back to their communities.
