(09-25-09) WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven women's basketball team is hosting their second annual 4K For Kay run/walk on Saturday, October 24, 2009 to fight against breast cancer.
The 4K For Kay is a run/walk which benefits the Kay Yow WBCA Cancer Fund. Registration is $10 and begins at 9:30 a.m. on October 24 outside Charger Gymnasium. The run/walk will begin at 10 a.m. at Charger Gymnasium. A tailgating tent will be set up after the race for participants to enjoy the UNH football game that day as well.

The second annual 4K For Kay Run/Walk is part of the UNH Department of Athletics broader community engagement efforts, which seeks to help the surrounding towns and community organizations while providing opportunities for student-athletes and coaches to give back to their communities.
