WEST HAVEN, Conn. -- The University of New Haven Department of Athletics celebrated the 22nd Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) on February 9 with their annual all-sports clinic at Charger Gymnasium.
The clinic featured coaches and student-athletes from each of the Chargers' nine varsity women's sports programs plus members of the Charger cheerleading squad. All participants received a free NGWSD t-shirt as well as instruction in a variety of sports. UNH has been conducting National Girls and Women in Sports Day clinics for over 10 years.
