NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Chargers Indoor Track season continued this weekend at Coxe Cage in New Haven for the Giegengack Invitational hosted by Yale University. UNH was led by strong performances from Sophomore Shannon Gagne (photo) and Senior Richard Wyche.

Gagne narrowly missed a top 10 finish in the long jump with an 11th place performance of 5.18 meters. In the sprints, Gagne registered an 11th an place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.12 seconds and rounding out her impressive weekend was a 14th place result with a time of 25.94 seconds in the 200-meter dash.

The men's team was led by Senior Richard Wyche who finished well in both the 200-meter and 400-meter dash events. In a time of 23.09 seconds Wyche captured 14th place in the 200-meter dash. Wyche also finished up in 17th place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.38 seconds.

The UNH Indoor Track season continues this Friday and Saturday with a meet at Boston University's Valentines Invitational.
