NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The University of New Haven men's and women's indoor track teams continued their season at Coxe Cage on Saturday afternoon at the 2008 Yale Track Classic.
It was the second meet of the season hosted by Yale University for the Chargers under first-year head coach Kevin LaSure.
MEN'S RECAP
James Beaubrun led the Chargers with a second place performance in the 1 Mile Run with a time of 4:24.30 finishing only behind John Kenworthy of Sacred Heart.
Richard Wyche turned in an impressive 11th place finish with a time of 50.68 in the 400-meter dash.
Finishing in 9th place was the University of New Haven Men's Distance Medley team of Patrick Leach, David Chiapperino, Beaubrun and Wyche.

WOMEN'S RECAP
Shannon Gagne led the women's squad with an 11th place finish in the long jump with a distance of 5.02 m. Gagne also earned a 14th place result in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.14 seconds.
Also with a strong performance for the Chargers was Ashley Hardy finishing 22nd place in the 800-meter dash with a time of 2:41.32.
