LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Ashley Rosindale scored three goals and assisted on a fourth as the Lock Haven University men's soccer team remained undefeated with a 4-0 win over the University of New Haven at McCollum Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

The season-opening loss for UNH came in the collegiate head coaching debut for Joshua Krusewski, who assumed the reigns of the Charger program in May.

"They were a very good team, but we did not handle the adversity of going down a goal," Krusewski said.  "We became undisciplined and had a lazy second half. Some of our players lost their composure and got away from playing our game.  I thought that two of our freshman, Travis Robinson (photo) and Matt Sarrazin, had the best performances of the group."

Lock Haven improved to 2-0 this season behind Rosindale's scoring touch.  The junior forward from Bradford, England had three assists in the season opener four days ago and now leads the club with 10 points through just two matches.

He assisted on Paul Huckett's goal with just over a minute remaining in the first half, then added three of his own in the second period to break the contest open.  The goals all came in a five-minute span midway through the second period, the first at 62:34 and the last at 67:54.

Goalkeeper Billy Trimble made one save to earn the shutout for LHU, while James Hilaire stopped eight shots for UNH.

Nick Pezzente, Nick Dionne and Sarrazin all made their first collegiate starts for UNH, while first-year players Robinson and Trent McCaskill came off the bench.

The Chargers will look to rebound for their home opener this Sunday, September 2, at Dodds Stadium when they host California University of Pennsylvania.
