Jeter ended her career as the school’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder with 2,299 points and 1,486 rebounds. A three-time Kodak All-American, Jeter also garnered three All-New England Collegiate Conference berths as well as an NECC Player of the Year trophy. Jeter was a three-time All-ECAC selection as well as two-time ECAC Player of the Year recipient. In Division II history, she finished her career ranked 10th in career scoring, fourth in career rebounding and 11th in rebounding average. Jeter was an integral part of the 1987 National Championship team and earned the Final Four Tournament Most Valuable Player. In the championship game, Jeter scored 30 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the team to a two-point win over Cal-Poly Pomona. She established school records for scoring with 648 points and rebounding with 429 caroms in her senior year. Jeter also ranked among New Haven’s top ten all-time in both assists (314) and steals (221). She won the school’s Female Athlete of the Year in 1986 and shared the award with teammate Charlene Taylor in 1989.
