The backbone of Charger REC is Team REC; our student employment program. We only hire UNH students that truly want to be part of team and are dedicated to the success of the department. The training and experiences through campus recreation employment lead to lifelong student success and excellence.
Some of the benefits of TeamREC include FREE CPR certification, leadership skills development, and working as a member of a close knit team.
Student positions available include Welcome Center Attendants, Equipment Issue Attendants, Fitness Center Attendants, RecSport Officials, and Preventative Maintenance Technicians.
These positions are open to undergraduate, graduate, work study, and bursary students interested in working in a team environment committed to the mission and philosophy of the department. Interested students must attend an Information Session before their application will be considered.
The Fall 2009 Team REC Informational Sessions for interested students will be held:
Sunday August 30th at 5:30, 6:30 or 7:30 PM
Monday August 31st at 7:00 or 8:00 PM
**All sessions will be held in Alumni Lounge, the presentation is approximately 30 minutes. You only need to attend one of the five sessions offered to be eligible for employment**
Once you have attended one of the mandatory information sessions offered, you will need to download the application and a staff preference sheet (both are in PDF format). But remember, your application will not be considered until you attend an Informational Session. Along with your application students will be asked to provide a resume, cover letter and class schedule.
