Each fall, the University of New Haven provides a unique on-campus visit opportunity for students interested in our Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, and National Security programs.

This year, our Explore The University of New Haven Day for students interested in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, and National Security will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017.This event is an Open House for prospective students who have a specific interest in these unique and popular areas of study.

  • Dr. Henry C. Lee will talk to you about the field and some of the famous cases he has worked on.

Explore Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, and National Security at the University of New Haven:

  • Meet faculty members and current students, tour our facilities including the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science and National Crime Scene Training and Technology Center, get an overview of our technology, and learn about our research and internship opportunities.

Meet Dr. Henry Lee on November 19th!

The most famous forensic scientist in the world, Dr. Henry C. Lee has popularized the field of forensic science to a degree unsurpassed, even in fiction. At our Explore Day, you will be able to meet Dr. Lee and hear from him directly about the field of forensic science. You will also learn about his extensive career and some of the famous cases he has worked on.

Through the assistance of our Federal Agent Advisory Board and current faculty, University of New Haven students have gone on to so many exciting careers. In just the past five years alone, graduates of our program were hired by the FBI, CIA, DEA, ATF, NCIS, Inspector's General Office, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Agriculture, IRS, Secret Service and Border Patrol. Many of these agencies actively seek out and recruit our students because of the long track record of success we have had over the past sixty years!

National Acclaim!

Established well before most programs existed, the forensic science program at the University of New Haven is fully accredited by the Forensic Science Education Programs Accreditation Commission (FEPAC) through the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS). It is one of the nation's most popular programs and one of a select few to hold this accreditation. In addition, our world-renowned faculty brings over 300 years of actual field experience, which they convey to our students in the classroom.
