I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications. After completing my degree, I earned a Paralegal Certificate from Central Connecticut State University. Soon I began working at a law firm pursuing a career that fostered my passion for student advocacy and vocation for writing. During this time I also worked as a teacher’s assistant in the public school system. Volunteering at St Mary’s School is my preferred pastime. I served as chair of St. Mary’s School Board and was President of the Home and School Association.
In 2015 I was presented with the opportunity to work with the University of New Haven. My desire to work in higher education was to support students and the university community through my written communication skills. As the Assistant Director of Admissions and Enrollment Communications, I assist the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in content creation for our student communication plan and aid in the creation of the marketing materials as well. My favorite aspect of the University of New Haven is our extraordinary community. Every day I truly enjoy coming to campus, I am a proud member of our Undergraduate Admissions team.
