Biology Pre-Med

The Pre-Medical concentration in biology allows students to achieve the basic entrance requirements of virtually every U.S. college of medicine, dentistry, or veterinary medicine.

In addition to the university core curriculum and biology required curriculum, pre-med students immerse themselves in a curriculum with challenging courses in physics, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, and microbiology.

Students in the pre-med program also gain the advantage of experienced faculty who all hold a PhD and have worked with students through the medical school application process. In addition to a background in biology or health science related fields, medical schools will also consider a student’s Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) score and letters of recommendation.
