Fire/Arson Investigation
The Fire/Arson Investigation concentration in Fire Science prepares the student for careers in fire investigation, arson/fraud detection and code enforcement in both the public and private sectors. The curriculum provides the educational background necessary to determine the cause of fires, as well as the law in regards to fire investigations and evidence collection. In addition to all of the requirements met to be successful in the field of fire science, this concentration also satisfies the requirements for a minor in criminal justice.
