Finance

The holder of a finance degree will be highly qualified for positions in government and industry, including the financial services industry. UNH offers Finance as a major within the College of Business, and promotes an analytic appreciation of the financial system and the financial decision-making process in which society is continually engaged.

Finance courses at UNH provided a basis for understanding financial management, investment analysis and management issues. A wide range of domestic and international issues are covered, as well as trends in the financial lives of modern societies.

The College of Business houses the Personalized Academic Curricular Experience (PACE) program, in which students choose electives that focus on their career interests and aspirations. Finance majors are to take at least 12 credits under the PACE program, enabling them to focus on areas other then finance and business, giving them a well-rounded education and step-ahead in their chosen field.
