Soundview Hall Opens with a Green Initiative
On August 24, 2009 upperclassmen moved into Soundview Hall, our newest residence hall. Soundview is named for the spectacular views of Long Island Sound, as well as its views of the downtown New Haven skyline.

Profile: Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences
While most colleges offer one B.A. in Criminal Justice, the University of New Haven offers eight separate degrees, preparing our students for a variety of career options in Investigative Services, Crime Analysis, Law Enforcement Administration, International Justice and Security, Forensic Psychology, Juvenile and Family Justice, Victim Services and Corrections.

UNH Goes Early Action
Over the past three years, applications to the University of New Haven have tripled as interest in our programs continue to rise.With only 3,400 full-time undergraduate students in 100 majors, space has become extremely limited. As a result, we have instituted an Early Action Admissions Process for the upcoming year.

The University of New Haven? Where exactly is that anyway?” And so it began. By the end of my junior year in high school, I was already playing the role of an admissions counselor with my peers, telling them all about this small university I wanted to attend nearly three hours away.

Lee Building Construction Begins
Beginning in late July, construction fences were erected on campus outlining the site for the New Henry C. Lee Institute for Forensic Science. A road has been moved and construction has begun!

B.A./M.B.A. Five-year Program
Recognizing that students need a well-rounded education that makes them more marketable, UNH now offers a combined Bachelor of Arts/Master in Business Administration (B.A./M.B.A.) degree. Students will be able to earn their B.A./M.B.A. in just five years!

Bethel Hall Deposit
Bethel Hall is an all freshman residence hall that houses 180 students in a suite-style environment. Each suite consists of 6 double-occupancy rooms with a large common living area and community bathroom. The hall is conveniently located across the street from the Campus Center and is the closest residence hall to the academic buildings.
