This award is intended to recognize students who perform exceptionally well on the writing component of the SAT. Students who receive at least a 600 score on the writing component of the SAT are recognized with an award ranging from $1,000 - $3,000 annually. This is awarded in addition to one of the following scholarships: Presidential Scholarship, Distinguished Scholar Award, Academic Achievement Award, or Charger Award.
This award is guaranteed for your first year and renewable each year provided you remain a full-time undergraduate student while maintaining satisfactory progress towards a bachelor's degree and a B (3.0) cumulative grade point average. .
Dean's Scholarships are chosen by the dean of each of the four undergraduate colleges at UNH: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business, the Tagliatela College of Engineering, and the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences.
To be considered, applicants must have a complete application on file with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by the Early Action I deadline of November 15. The selection criteria will be made by each college based on the applicant pool. Recipients will be notified directly by the college of study in the first two weeks of February. The Dean's Scholarship is awarded in addition to any of the other merit-based scholarships.

This scholarship is for students who have been selected and have chosen to enroll in the Honors Program. Students who are selected will be notified and scholarship amount will be additional to any merit-based scholarship awarded. Supplemental documentation may be required for this scholarship.
This award is renewable if the student maintains the requirments of the UNH Honors Program.
