What Do I Do Upon Arrival?

Upon arrival, at the port of entry, the student is required to meet the immigration official and get his/her I-20attested for Duration of Status (D/S) and an I-94 form issued. The I-20 form and I-94 card should be kept safe at all times. International students may be asked to produce them by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) at any time.

After getting the I-94 form, the student is required to go to the UNH International Services Office at 300 Boston Post Road to receive clearance to register and to make his/her stay in the United States legal.
