The More you Learn, The More you Earn
It's true! According to the U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics, between 1980 and 2005 "young adults with at least a bachelor's degree consistently had higher median earnings than those with less education." How much more? On average, wage earners with a Bachelor's degree made 60-80% more than those with a GED or high school diploma.
Quality Education Holds the Most Value
UNH's Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering program has been continually accredited by ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering & Technology) since 1970. Local employers often demand these high standards and quality education for their employees. Mechanical Engineers need to be academically and professionally competent, and able to meet the industry's needs.
