The need for leaders to make skillful changes in their organizations is top of mind for every organization’s executives. They are looking to turn their solid managers into change-embracing leaders, who will create a sustained track-record of innovation, profitable growth and quality. This will demand that leaders move their thinking and leadership skills beyond simple “this or that” approaches. Leaders in the 21st century need to develop capabilities to both envision a competitive strategy and execute it, both improve quality and boost efficiencies while also leading innovation. The need to develop leaders who can actually embrace polarities, paradoxes and contradictions is a key to sparking breakthroughs, innovation and business results.
