Since 2009, the University of New Haven has offered a comprehensive, 30-week, non-credit program teaching the fundamentals of project management concepts. Taught by certified PMP® instructors, the certificate program was designed for local professionals looking for an introduction to the field as well as seasoned project managers looking for a formal education in PM.
This eight month non-credit program consists of 5 six-week modules that need to be completed in order to receive the certificate.

Those who complete the certificate will be awarded 90 contact hours/PDUs, more than twice the amount required to qualify for the Project Management Institute's PMP® certification exam.

Candidates for admission to the certificate program are required to have two years of professional experience. An undergraduate degree is not a requirement; qualified students from all backgrounds are encouraged to register.
How to Register
To become a non-credit certificate student, submit the online registration with the program fee. Upon acceptance to a certificate program, students will be contacted by an advisor regarding confirmation of enrollment and class details.

The noncredit Project Management certificate was first offered at the University's New London, Connecticut campus at the Mitchell College in 2009. We began offering the program at the West Haven campus in 2011.
