After about seven hours death defying flight…
Four hours stuck in the terminal….
Almost forty-eight hours with no sleep…
Climbing 20 up-hill ramps, with 2 luggage bags weighing 116 lbs in total, and two carryon bags…
WE’RE FINALLY HERE and the campus is absolutely gorgeous! Although I’ve been having some technical difficulties involving an electrical adapter and a smoking iHome…. Everything has been awesome! I’ve already decorated my room and gotten all of my stuff put away. We made a trip to Asda, which is kind of like a Walmart. You never realize how broke you actually are until you go food shopping for yourself! I spent £22 ($44) and I bought:
- 2 Bath Towels
- 2 Face Clothes
- 1 Container of push tacks
- 1 Roll of double sided tape
Food:
- 2 Small jars of peanut butter
- 1 Jar of strawberry jam
- 1 Bag of Cooler Ranch Doritos
- 1 Loaf of bread
- 4 HUGE bottles of water
That is my breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the week.
