It is the last day before the departure to England and I am so excited! Right now, I am sitting in my hotel suite at the Westin Hotel in NYC! My mom is taking me all around the city because I have never been in New York City before. I definitely want to see Madame Tussauds, Ground Zero, Time Square, Fuse, MTV, Hard Rock Cafe, and a tour on a double decker bus. There is so much to do, and so little time left, before I have to leave for JFK airport!
This past weekend I took the time to visit my family and best friend for the last time before I left for NYC. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye to my nieces and nephews! I cried, I’m not going to lie, but I cried BIG TIME! I got to watch my niece, Taylor, and my nephew, Jimmy, play flag football. They both got touchdowns! I also got to see my nephews Max, Jack, and Finn, who are so cute! Max went to soccer practice, while I got to hang out with Jack and Finn. Then, on Saturday night, I hung out with my best friend, Jess, who went shopping with m e to get my last few essentials for London, and for the plane. We stayed up until 4:30 in the morning watching tons of movies. It is really hard to say goodbye to my family for three months, but I think I can make it through!
