Hello, readers! I'm Katherine Szabo, I'm 18 years old and very soon I will be traveling to the beautiful city of London with FSA! I'll tell you a bit about myself and why I chose to do FSA, for starters.
When I first went to visit UNH in my sophomore year of high school, I heard that they had a brand new Freshman Study Abroad program, and I just knew that I had to do it! All my life I had always had a huge interest in British culture and history, something that I picked up from my mother. I first went to London when I was nine years old, and I immediately fell in love! I've been there three times since then, and I am absolutely ecstatic to have the opportunity to stay there for an extended period. My dream is to one day live in the UK. The majourity of my favourite actors, television shows, bands, sports teams (GO MAN UNITED!), authors, etc. are all British.I've also taken to spelling words the British way, something I've been doing since I was very young. I can't even help it anymore!
Ever since I found out that I was going to FSA I've been planning what I'm going to do during my stay! So far I've tickets to many shows featuring some of my favourite actors, and tickets to see see some of my favourite sports teams. Plus, I've many other plans to see concerts and visit all sorts of museums and monuments! One of the main things I want to do is see landmarks of my all-time favourite author, Oscar Wilde! I will be sure to let everyone know what I'm up to and take plenty of pictures.
