What a weekend!

I did so much and you'd think I'd be exhausted right now but I'm absolutely wired and excited about everything that happened. I'll summarize it as best I can.

So Friday was the concert you've all been reading about for weeks now. It was a lot of fun and very good. We didn't stay for the entire show since we had other stuff we wanted to do, but it went well and I think the UNH community as a whole was happy with it. After we went to the beach for awhile and it was so nice out! We sat on the rocks and hung out, it was nice and felt like summer.

Saturday was the carnival and I loved it. There was an elephant which was definitely the main attraction, and I went on some rides and saw all of my friends. It was much bigger than I expected it to be, and there was a lot to do. The best part? We didn't have to pay for any of it! I kept thinking I would need a ticket or a couple dollars to do everything but it was all free. Definitely a very fun day.

So FINALLY Sunday came, the day I've been waiting for forever. It was the Britney concert and it was absolutely amazing. My friend from home came with me, and we walked around Mohegan Sun for a bit, bought some merch, and then went in. We missed the Pussycat Dolls because we didn't really care to see them, but in between they had a bunch of circus acts going on. Seeing Britney was surreal; I am such a huge fan that it's indescribable but let's just say I was a little numb in the beginning because I wasn't sure I'd ever get to see her live again. Her dancing was on-point and the show itself was unbelievable. At one point she ran to the side of her stage and kissed her boys, they were so cute. I feel like I blinked and it was over, but it was fantastic. I'm sooo happy, I would pay any amount of money to do it again.

My birthday is this Thursday so the next few days will be a scramble to get some work done. I wrote out a big schedule for myself, and I think I'm going to be locked in my room the next couple of days. Tuesday is the day I have to direct in TV Production and film the last portion of my movie, I'm super nervous about it. I have a final on my birthday so I'm going to be studying on and off all week. This is definitely the busiest time of my year!

Well, I would suggest doing some research on the major you want and telling your parents about why UNH is better for your major. Also, bring them here for a tour or an open house so they can see for themselves how nice it is! Another good thing would be to figure out all of the ways to get home, so that you can give them a lot of options!

You should definitely visit UNH soon, it's gorgeous at this time of year. I think both you and your parents will be convinced!

That does sound absolutely amazing. I myself am not a Britney fan, but I like her style.

How is it out there exactly? I'm interested in going to UNH, but my parents are not too sure if they want me to be so far. With that being said, I need to find as many reasons to persuade them into letting me go.lol
