My Tough Semester

Whoever said this semester was going to be easy lied to me!!  Well I guess I sort of lied to myself. You see, I normally take five class (equaling 15 credits) and three labs (equaling 3 credits). This semester even though I’m taking 17 credits, three credits are for my internship which I did last summer and three credits are for my drum lessons (yes, even though I’m a forensic science major I can still take drum lessons, cool huh?). So really I’m taking 11 credits this semester. Should be easy, right?! Wrong!! Add in my thesis, working at least 25 hours a week, sorority stuff, class of 2009 stuff, and trying to have some fun and you have a really busy girl! It probably doesn’t help that I have senioritis to the max as well!

Anyway, my week…I have to admit it wasn’t terribly exciting. I had an exam on Wednesday that I thought I did really well on (I was wrong), lab on Thursday as usual, then I worked most of the weekend. It was horrible being stuck inside with the weather being so beautiful! I did go to Cold Stone for ice cream this weekend…twice! Oh and I went to Rita’s for some Italian ice…I sure will miss that place when I move back home! Speaking of home, still no update on the job search or apartment search :-\ Oh well…I’ll keep trying!

I’m presenting my thesis this Thursday *bites nails* then I have an exam next Wednesday. I have to finish my internship journal…whoops! I have two more lab reports to write, and then I’m done until finals!!! WOO! I think I’m getting excited a little too prematurely though…it’s a lot of work to get done in one week! So as you can clearly tell by the blog, my mind is in a million and one places now and it’s crunch time. So I should probably get to crunching!

P.S. If you haven’t already sent your deposit to the school, do it NOW! It’s due Friday!! Oh and sign up for SOAR. SOAR is a blast…I’ll tell you more about it on Thursday!
