College is the best years of your life, but nothing beats going home to Mom's cooking. The friends I have made here have made me learn that location may not seem like it has a factor about where you'll attend school, but once you get into the routine of the college life, it hits you like a ton of bricks.
I live about an hour north of UNH, and it is the perfect distance; I'm far enough away from home to live on campus and justify not being a commuter, but yet I'm close enough that I can go home for a weekend if I want to see the family or just take a break from school.
Whenever Easter rolls around in college, it's usually the crunch time to start getting all your final projects together. In my case, it's time to see what life will hold for me beginning May 24th, the day after graduation. You try not to think about it, but it's inevitable. For now, I'm going to enjoy being home on a bed that's not passed down from one college student to another, and catch up with old friends. Have a Happy Easter
