Once again it's Monday. My weekend was filled with a lot of fun as I went to New York City to see the Bodies exhibit with the Forensic Science and Chemistry Club (FSCC). The exhibit was awesome (I loved the Circulatory System dissection the most) and I would see it again if I got the chance.
So back to Monday. Calculus I was interesting as usual as the professor made it easy to understand (with some humor). I am beginning to find out how much easier Calculus is than Pre-Calculus. It makes absolutely no sense, but I guess the professor and maybe my better understanding of the subject helped.
After Calculus, I began my day of extracurricular activities. I skipped USGA, but decided to use that time instead to vote on the next leaders of USGA. The entire process was done online and I actually didn't know, until today, that the USGA E-board actually received a stipend equal to 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of their tuition during their term depending on position.
After I exercised my right to vote, I took a nap and proceeded to the ISA meeting. It was now a week away from the International Festival and things are getting more hectic. Paperwork, food licenses, performances, participant responses...
In the end though, I know that we as the ISA, will be able to work through all of it and be able to throw an International Festival to remember.
Afterwards I grabbed some dinner and went over to the SCOPE meeting. We went over the usual committee reports of the week before and the cool events going to happen. In the coming weeks, we're going to have an Elvis impersonator and a trip to Six Flags Great Adventure. I can't wait for that trip, it will be free or 10 bucks and it will be great!
After SCOPE, I decided to skip Anime Club because they were having a Pokémon Diamond/Pearl Tournament and Hall Council because it was canceled. I proceeded to clean up my room for a bit and I went to the gym afterwards. I stopped in the March Madness Finals event at the student center, which was packed, so I left because of no seats and I went back to my dorm for shower and sleep.
