It's beautiful outside! This is definitely my favorite time of the year at UNH because everyone's spirits are picking up with the nice weather and summer sun is in sight, and there are tons of fun activities coming up. And whenever there's a nice day, everyone heads to the quad on their downtime for barbecues and music. Pretty soon we'll be going to the beach (only 10 minutes away) to lay around.
This past week was a little more relaxed for me so I got the chance to catch up on a lot of my work. This weekend was nice, too. Friday after class, my roommates and I ran some errands on the Boston Post Road and then came back to get ready for a trip to Pepe's Pizza, a famous pizza place in New Haven. Surprisingly, I hadn't been since I was a sophmore in high school. Despite the wait - there's ALWAYS a wait - it was a good time and the pizza was awesome. After that we bounced around campus to various dorms until finally calling it a night at 2 a.m. I haven't stayed up so late in weeks and I'm still exhausted, but it was fun.
Saturday I worked at the Accepted Students Day for a bit and the rest was pretty lazy. I got dinner with my roommates and watched my poor UConn Huskies lose their final four game (but at least the women are clearly going to dominate). After that we just got some ice cream and watched the Office, which I purchased at Target on sale!
This week we have Friday off for Good Friday and I'll be heading home to see my family. Hope everyone enjoys their Cadbury Eggs next Sunday!
