The week from ...

Sorry for not posting in a while, but I had the week from hell last week! I feel like everything that could have gone my way didn’t! It’s okay though, I worked my way through it like every other college student. The Beckerman Rec Center was my stress reliever once again… Thank you RecCenter!

I received my RA placement for next year. I will be an RA in Dunham Hall again… woot! It wasn’t my first choice, but I will do great things for Dunham again. It helps that I had a blast this year!

Yeah, I think that’s is it for this post.

    So you are 10% unsure…

The University of New Haven is a fun, academically challenging, friendly, and social environment. There is always something to do! There are various clubs and organizations, so you will find somewhere to fit in (www.newhaven.edu/studentactivities). The class sizes are small, and the professors get to know each student on a personal level… each student is a face with a name, not a number!
Unsure with exactly what you want to do with your life? Well the professors at UNH have “in field” experience and are always more than willing to tell you stories about their careers and offer advice based on your interests.
The University is constantly evolving while maintaining student satisfaction. This growth includes the just over a year old Beckerman Recreation Center, Soundview (the newly constructed 400 bed apartment style residence hall), the construction of the Henry C. Lee Forensic Science building, the reinstatement of Charger’s football (including the new million dollar blue turf field), and the expansion of Bartels Hall (the student center).
Another reason UNH might be right for you is the number of people you will meet, and the life- long friendships that will be made. I am great friends with so many different kinds of people because of UNH’s diverse campus (and because I am so involved).

I hope this helps in your decision making!
