Don’t you just love Fridays? Not having Friday classes is definitely a plus! This week flew by wicked fast! Monday was pretty much a blur since I was exhausted from the weekend! The play went extremely well! We got a great turnout; all my friends said they would come and they did! It was great being backstage and hearing my name being yelled from the audience. We had the New Haven Advocate there Opening Night. He wrote us a great review, commending our writers and directors tremendously since they were both students and not professionals. I always hate our last performance though, since that means that our play is over, and no more seeing each other at rehearsals.
My co-actress in the play has become a great friend to me! When you venture out and join new things, you meet so many new people; who become some of your closest friends. Besides the play exhausting me, there were many people visiting the campus over the weekend! Accepted Students Days for the Henry C. Lee Institute for Criminal Justice and Forensic Science Majors were this weekend! Up at 8AM to help with those, but I am not complaining. I love seeing the excited faces of incoming freshmen who will be attending the school in the fall. I also love having families remember me saying, “Hey, you are the one who gave us that great tour many months ago.” It’s very satisfying to hear that you left an impact on these many people.
Well I’m sorry I didn’t have too much going on! I will have more in a few days!
