Wow it was a long week back!! Sorry for the update being so late, but I have had a crazy week! After I got back to CT from Spring Break, it was full steam ahead on my thesis…I did manage to finish twelve pages though!! Then after I was done with that, I had to start studying for an exam I had yesterday. Now I need to start studying for an exam I have next Wednesday!! Gosh, I swear it never ends…haha. I like it though, I love to keep busy. Now that graduation is just two months away, it’s just going to keep getting busier too!
The Class of 2009 officers meet every Wednesday, and yesterday’s meeting was really productive. Every year the senior class gives a gift to the school, sort of our way to say thanks for everything. We have a great idea, and I wish I could tell you what it is, but I don’t want to say anything until we get it approved. As soon as we do though, I’m sure I’ll be writing about it. I think it’s going to be really great for future students and give them a super awesome place to hang out outside :-)
As far as a job search goes, we went over how to find jobs in the forensic science field on Monday, and I mailed in my resume to the MA state crime lab (that’s where I would like to work someday) so keep your fingers crossed for me! I also think I’m going to apply to be a substitute teacher in some towns near where I live. I got involved in a really great program last year, and it made me realize that I really enjoying helping people learn. I’ve got to do some reading for instrumental before I can start doing homework and studying, but I’ll be sure to tell you a little more about that awesome program next time!!
